Visakhapatnam is also know as Vizag. Visakhapatnam is the largest city and the financial capital of Andhra Pradesh. ARAKU VALLEY:-

Araku valley is a comparatively unexplored hill station mostly visited by locals as a weekend gateway and is situated 120 km away from visakhapatnam. If you're a tourist looking for exclusively and tranquility, go and catch Vistadome trian it leaves visakhapatnam making way through 58 tunnels and passing over 84 bridges making way through the breathtaking landscape to reach Araku.
Located in the gentle hills of Eastern Ghats this Araku valley home to a number of tribes as well as few tribal caves and the tribal museum. This destination is quite famous for it's coffee plants. If you're a nature lover then you must visit this Araku valley.

KAILASAGIRI:-

Kailasagiri is a hill top park in the visakhapatnam. The hill is at 360 feet and it overlooks beaches,forests and the entire city of Visakhapatnam. It's also one of the best tourists spot in the city for a Bird's eye view of the Bay. The Kailasagiri park is well know for it's panoramic view peaceful atmosphere and it's scenic beauty making it a beautiful tourist attraction in Visakhapatnam. KAMBALAKONDA WILDLIFE SANCTUARY:-

Kambalakonda wildlife sanctuary is located on the outskirts of Visakhapatnam and is a perfect example of natural harmony between the dry seasonal forest and the evergreen Meadows.
The sanctuary noted for many rare species of wild animals like Panthers,sambar deer, spotted deer, barking deer, jackal, wild boar, wild dog.

INS KURUSURA SUBMARINE MUSEUM:-

INS KURUSURA Submarine museum located in the coast of Visakhapatnam. The museum is inside an actual submarine. It is a one of a kind project that was launched by the Eastern Naval Command. INS KURUSURA which was India's 5th submarine. It served the Indian Navy for 31 years and it was decommissioned in 2001.  The museum has pictures and articles that share stories of strength,sacrifice and patriotism of warriors. It is only submarine museum in entire Asia. A visit to the museum not only a must to gain some knowledge but also to rejuvenate a feeling of patriotism and pride for our country and for the warriors.

BORRA CAVES:-

Borra caves is located in the Ananthagiri hills of the Araku valley in Visakhapatnam. Borra caves are demeed to be among the larhlar in the country and are preched at a whopping elevation of about 705 meters. They are basically limestone structures extending to a depth of 80 meters and are considered to be deepest cave in India. The combination of sunlight and dark conjures amazing dancing shaped in the depth of borra caves which is a sight in itself.

SIMACHALAM TEMPLE:-

The simachalam temple is an ornate shrine which is reverd to be one of the most important temples in the region. The temple is located on a top of hill 800 meters above the sea level and is dedicated to Lord Narashima, who is an incarnation of Vishnu himself.
The simachalam temple has detailed prayer routines for all days of the year which are undisturbed by the influx of pilgrims. Interestingly the statue of the deity appears in its true form only for 12 hours per year on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. On any other occasion the idol is covered with sandalwood paste.

RUSHIKONDA BEACH:-

Rushikonda Beach is a stunning shore located on the coast of the Bay of Bengal in visakapatnam. This place is a favorite among water sports lovers because of the range of activities that are offered here. If you're in the mood of adrenaline rush you can indulge in the water sports that are offered here. The Rushikonda beach is one of the few beaches that offer scuba diving under expert supervision, so don't forget to take a quick deep in the water.

INDIRA GANDHI ZOOLOGICAL PARK:-

Indira Gandhi Zoological park is a scenic location and is a part of the kambalakonda forest reserve. It acts as home for approximately eight different species of animals spread over an area of 625 acres. Perhaps nothing ever delighted us as children than a visit to zoo and this destination does precisely that. This zoo houses variety of animals such as primates, carnivores, mammals, unglates, and birds and vast range of animals.

VUDA PARK:-

The VUDA Park is a popular attraction in Visakhapatnam and a favorite among tourists. The park also has a skating rink and many small playing areas for kids. It's an ideal spot for a late evening snacks especially if you're with kids.

RAMAKRISHNA BEACH:-

One of the most popular beaches of Visakhapatnam. RK Beach is a beach for to spend some relaxed time, enjoy strolls across the beach, sunbath and more.
However it is highly advisable to not swim at this beach as it can be very dangerous and is said to have claimed lives in the past.

BHEEMILI BEACH:-

The long beautiful and pristine Bheemunipatnam Beach is located at the assemblage if Gosthani River and the Bay of Bengal. It also houses the remains of a 17th century fort and cemetery reveling history dating back to the Dutch era.
Bheemili however is more at peace and has calm waves making it a perfect gateway for all the swimmers at heart. A salty refreshing climate United with the agreeable nature and lush greenery all around dotted with lined Palm groves make bheemili a famous and loved beach.

YARADA BEACH:-

Yarada beach is an entrancing site which is surrounded by hills on three sides and Bay of Bengal on fourth covered with lush greenery and soft golden sands all over. It is an ideal location especially for the nature lovers as one gets to view enchanting sunrise and sunset on this coastline. The beach is situated at a distance of 15km from visakhapatnam and does not remain very crowded. Since not many people gather here all time yarada beach is by far one of the safest and cleanliest beach at present.
A perfectly holiday destination which allows it's tourists to spend quality time with their loved ones.

VICTORY AT SEA WAR MEMORIAL:-

Victory at Sea war memorial was built in 1996 to honour the brave soldiers of Indian Navy and the Eastern Naval Command who fought the Indo-Pak war and Sunks PNS Gazi a Pakistani submarine when targeted the visakhapatnam Port to destroy INS Vikrant an Indian aircraft carrier. PNS Gazi was defeated at the coast of the city of Visakhapatnam. Hence the victory of sea war memorial has been built in the memory of the first battle victory in the liberation war.

LAMBASINGI:-

It is also called "Kashmir of Andhra Pradesh" Lambasingi is a quaint nestled in chintapalli mandal in the richly forested Araku valley at an elevation of 1025 m above the sea level. One of the kept secrets of Andhra Pradesh the dainty village is Known for it's majestic hills, apples orchards and panoramic views of the adjoining valley. Also known as Korra Bayalu the village is the only place in all of South India that experiences snowfall as the temperature drop significantly.
